Definition of Reiki
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words:
“rei” which means “universal, spirit, wisdom”
“Ki” which means “life force”
Reiki can thus be translated as “universal life force energy”.
Reiki is a holistic, deeply relaxing, hands-on technique
that stimulates self-healing
and eliminates any physical, mental or emotional imbalance,
reducing stress, relieving pain
and producing well-being, moral comfort and spiritual growth.
Reiki isn't a miracle cure:
A session will not make you happy, but the inner personal transformation that it triggers will help you change your perception towards life.
A session will not resolve your problems, but will assist you in breaking bad habits, coping with your difficulties and transcending your suffering.
Reiki isn't a substitute to medical treatment:
Reiki is a non-conventional healing technique and not a medical treatment: it doesn't neutralize a symptom but restores blocked energies which led to the disease.
If you have physical pains, you must first consult your doctor and your symptoms have to be examined by a healthcare professional.

- An support in the healing process towards well-being
- A practice to restore physical, emotional and mental balance
- A treatment of the root causes of disease and not a treatment of symptoms
- A catalyst for inner change
